Gasparilla Music Festival is always one of the best weekends of the year for me. From the people, to the food, to the music, it’s just non-stop good vibes.
So many local businesses are set up at Gasparilla each year to bring you good eats, from Cafe Hey serving you bomb ass cubans + vegan mac & cheese, to Chill Bros serving you the “Bees Knees” aka the best ice cream i’ve ever had, there’s something to satisfy everyone’s cravings. It’s really cool to see a festival that supports its community as much as
Gasparilla does, it’s what sets it apart from other festivals in the area.
My favorite set this year had to have been Local Natives, their energy is undeniable and it’s hard to not find yourself mesmerized by the talent they display on stage. I was able to take a step back and watch the crowd during the middle of their set and it was truly amazing, everyone was dancing, and had a smile on their face. That’s the beauty of Gasparilla, every year I go it really doesn’t seem like a single person is in a bad mood, everyone has a smile on their face, yummy food in hand, and is dancing the day (and night) away.
